We stand behind everything we sell at Parts Now. If you have a problem or are unhappy with something you have purchased from us, please consult the warranty and return policy provisions below to learn more.

RMA PROCEDURE

A Returns Specialist will assign an RMA number to you. It is your responsibility to put this number on the outside, and inside, of your returned product package to ensure adequate customer/product identification. Product returned without a valid RMA number identification will be refused. RMA numbers are valid for 30 calendar days from the date issued.

PARTS NOW WARRANTY POLICY

NEW PRODUCT
This includes an OEM's Equivalent to New (ETN) remanufactured product that has been rigorously tested by the OEM to ensure the same performance levels as a new OEM product. These products are sold by the OEMs as new to Parts Now.

REFURBISHED PRODUCT
The Parts Now warranty does not apply to defects resulting from: (1) inadequate or improper maintenance; (2) unauthorized modification or misuse; (3) usage outside of the environmental specifications of the part or product; or (4) improper site preparation and maintenance.

 


 

PARTS NOW PRINTER WARRANTY POLICY

REMANUFACTURED PRINTER WARRANTY:

All Parts Now remanufactured printers carry a One Year Warranty on the printer and all non-consumable printer parts. Consumable items such as fusers, rollers, etc., are covered for 12 months or one duty cycle of that part, whichever is first. Electronic Transfer Belts (ETB) on color models are only covered for a 90 day warranty.

Warranty covers defects in product & workmanship only. This warranty does not include network support, computer support, or compatibility issues. This is not a service contract, on-site service reimbursement is not included.

WARRANTY CLAIMS:

In the event a warranty claim is necessary, all claims must be approved by calling 800-588-3554 and choose the technical support option. Once approved, an RMA (Return Material Authorization) will be generated for the repair part (or printer), and then shipped as a replacement. The RMA # will be provided, and must be referenced with the part (or printer) that is to be returned to Parts Now.

Warranty part(s)/printer(s) will be billed to the party responsible for returning the part(s)/printer(s). If an existing customer, it will be billed to their account. If not a current customer, a credit card will be required. Credit will then be applied to the warranty invoice or credit card upon the return and inspection of the part(s)/printer(s). In the event a printer issue cannot be resolved with warranty parts, a replacement printer may be issued.

WARRANTY SHIPPING:

Ground shipping is included for replacement part/printer shipments. If customer requests overnight shipping, this additional charge will be their responsibility. A pre-paid shipping label will be provided for the return of any parts or printers.

RETURN POLICY:

Unused/Unopened items must be returned in the original packaging within 30 days of purchase in order to receive credit. Returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee and credit cannot be issued until the item is returned and inspected. Any special order items will be credited at our discretion.

All warranty items must have an authorized RMA. RMA numbers are obtained from customer service. The RMA number must be on any paperwork and referenced on the outside of the box of all returns. The customer is responsible for damages incurred during shipping. Please pack carefully.

• New product will carry the full manufacturer’s OEM warranty - Warranty: Varies based on the manufacturer and product
• All remanufactured printer service parts 12 month warranty
• Excludes continuous feed production print devices, warranty 90 days
• Advantage Printers 6 month warranty
• MPS Ready Printers 12 month warranty
• All other remanufactured non-printer service parts 90 days
• All other refurbished printers - Warranty: Varies based on printer type and terms of sale

*A warranty replacement item carries the warranty of the original product.

WARRANTY RETURNS:

1. Requirements
Products returned to Parts Now due to defect or error must be returned with:
a) A valid RMA number
b) A copy of the original invoice
c) ALL of the original packaging (if new)
d) The reason for the return
e) Courtesy Return Shipping Labels will be provided if needed

2. Return Process
When the product is received for warranty, Parts Now will inspect it to confirm the product is correct and eligible for a warranty claim. If the product does not qualify under the warranty policy, you will be notified with an explanation and the product will be returned at your expense, or disposed of at your direction.

3. Replacement
Warranty items are replacement only, no credit or cash value will be given

RESPONSIBILTY FOR DAMAGE:

Parts Now is not responsible for damages incurred in transit. Parts Now’s shipping terms are FOB from the dock. The shipping carrier is responsible for such damage.

Parts Now does not issue return merchandise authorization (RMA) numbers for products damaged due to shipping. A new order will be placed for the customer while the carrier is processing the claim. At such time as the claim is resolved and payment is made, the customer will be credited.

CREDIT RETURNS
1. Requirements

Manuals, printheads, consumables*, toner and special order items may not be returned. Parts Now will only accept these items for return if it involves our error.

Credit Return Policy: New & Refurbished Product
   • If part is returned unopened within 30 days of purchase – 100 percent credit
   • If part is returned opened within 30 days of purchase – 20 percent restock
   • If part is returned after 30 days of purchase - no credit

Product returns must:
a) Have a valid RMA number
b) Have ALL of the original packaging (if new)
c) Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer

*Consumables include items such as: toner, drum units and kits, transfer units and kits, rollers, etc.

2. Return Process

When the returned product is received, it will be inspected to confirm that it is correct and eligible for return. If the product is not eligible for return, you will be notified with an explanation and the product will be returned at your expense or disposed of at your direction.

3. Reimbursement

All products returned by customers, except for those resulting from an error by Parts Now, may be subject to a restocking fee.

Upon inspection and acceptance of the returned product, Parts Now will, at its discretion, credit the account of the open account customer, send a refund check or issue a credit to a credit card account of a non-open account customer.
