numbers, monthly specials, part diagrams, etc.
Overall, Parts Now! system performance is excellent,
which means more time can be spent servicing our
customers,“ stated Joe Dempich,

- Reduced times for data maintenance operations
- Increased streamlining of system processes and software applications
- Approximately 20% cost savings due to AMD processor capabilities
- Increased system availability and redundancy
Parts Now! received this prestigious award at
Convergence 2006, an annual Microsoft customer
conference held in March. The 2006 Pinnacle Awards
were presented in nine categories; Parts Now! earned
its Pinnacle Award for innovation.
Maximize IT Performance
Parts Now! is the largest laser
printer parts distributor in the world. By
maintaining the most comprehensive inventory of
laser printer parts, whole unit printers, service
manuals, and supplies in the industry, and by
offering top-notch training, service, and technical
support, Parts Now! has seen sales grow from
$300,000 in its first year of business in 1989, to
more than $91 million in 2005.
While the combination of HP and
Microsoft technology had already helped drive record
sales, Parts Now! leveraged Microsoft Dynamics™ GP
on HP ProLiant servers based on AMD64 technology to
further maximize their performance, maintain its
growth and secure its position at the top of the
industry.
Storefront Integration Bundle
When Parts
Now! heard that the eCommerce product was being
discontinued, they immediately contacted the MBS
Consultant Team about a solution that would use
eConnect to replace BDX technology, allowing their
online storefront to still integrate with Microsoft
Great Plains. With MBS Consultant Team’s help,
Parts Now! has developed, and continues to develop,
the product called “Storefront Integration Bundle.”
MBS Consultant Team’s knowledge of Microsoft
eConnect and back office has saved Parts Now!
immeasurable amounts of time and helped increase the
efficiency of the website.
Growing Dynamics GP
Parts Now’s
IT staff has the flexibility within GP to build
solutions to meet the growing company’s needs, which
has allowed Parts Now! to better serve the customer.
The customizations to the Sales Transaction Entry
screen improved Sales Order Processing as a whole.
These customizations give the user access to more
data, so they can cycle through calls more quickly.
They have also added code to help prevent users from
making common data entry errors. This helps make
sure the correct parts are shipped at the correct
prices to the correct addresses, the first time.
Parts Now! works with Microsoft
certified reselling partner SVA Consulting, LLC of
Madison, WI.
