The CLJ 4700 and CP 4005 are the direct replacements for the CLJ 4600 and 4650 series. These common business class machines use an inline vertical direct transfer method in the image formation process. This class will compare the CLJ 4700 and CP4005 to its predecessors pointing out the many differences and improvements of the CLJ 4700 and CP 4005. Students taking this online course should have a color LJ4700 or CP4005 printer for the many hands on labs included in this course. The class is based off our instructor led course, and broken down into multiple segments so the student can easily go back and review each section as needed. The class includes medium and high resolution video to accommodate students with different bandwidths, for the hands on portions of the class. Students passing the exam will receive a Parts Now! certificate of achievement.
Color Theory and Process and a passing of a monochrome printer course are prerequisites for this course.

The 8150 class covers the 72X engine (8150 and 8100) and the WX engine (8000 and
5Si). The 5Si and 8000 have been out for a number of years and a vast amount of
knowledge regarding common failures have been accumulated. Many technicians
assume incorrectly that the 8100 and 8150 printers are just like the older 8000
and 5Si. This class will clear up these differences and help any service
engineer troubleshoot these printers more quickly and accurately.
